Spring Stripes

Photo: Stockholm Street Style

Why not take a page out of Viviana Volpicella's playbook and opt for stripes this spring? (Bonus points if they're neon-hued like the uber popular pink Prada skirt that VV is sporting).

Sure, we can't all pull off head-to-toe stripes--or horizontals--
but there are tons of ways, from shoes to bags, that you can
incorporate stripes. Will you?

Beautiful Bride: Reese Witherspoon

Awww.
Reese Witherspoon looks so happy in her wedding photos.

And the bride wore pink.
Pink Monique Lhuillier that is.
Shades of Elle Woods.

I love the idea of going for another colour for a second wedding.
Although, is it just me or does the dress look decidedly less
pink on the Hello! cover?

I think the dress' deconstructed, vintage-y bodice and the
feminine vibe of the dress really suit Reese.

According to People, the dress featured a "Chantilly lace corset bodice and full tulle A-line skirt...[and] was adorned with a double-face silk satin ribbon with cascading silk flowers, which matched the dress of Witherspoon's daughter Ava, 11, who served as maid of honor in her own custom Lhuillier." Reese sported a second, shorter dress for the reception.
What did you think of Reese's wedding look?

Which brings us to Michael Buble and his new bride Luisana Lopilato who married in Argentina. The groom wore DSquared while the bride wore a ruffled dress by Sylvie Burstin that I'm just not feeling. What do you think? They look very happy, though, and all the best to them. [via]

Sweet Valley High: Ten Years Later

Confession time: I'm crazy excited for this book.
Like, excited enough to buy it, excited.

Almost as excited as I was when New Kids
started touring again.

Jessica and Elizabeth are now 27 and
NOT SPEAKING.
Boys were likely involved.

I know this isn't going to be the best read ever,
but there is something to be said for nostalgia.

And I can't wait to find out what all the characters have been up to.
Jeez, I'm talking about them like they're people.

I can't believe the first Sweet Valley book came out in 1983--I was 1!

So, tell me, am I the only one here?
And when are we getting the new Babysitters Club book?
Happy April Fool's - I hope everyone has a great weekend!
